This young duo formed in 2001 and made their debut that same year at the
Zagan Chamber Music Festival in Zagan, Poland. Their performance at this
concert of their last repertoire, including Piazzolla, de Falla, Paganini
and Gismonti, energized the audience and led to a stream of international
concerts with performances in Poland, Germany, the Canary Islands and the
USA.

Lukasz Kuropaczewski is an exceptional new talent in the guitar world. Despite his young age, he has been described as "a master technician with artistic maturity well beyond his years" whose performances are "filled with deep emotion and empathy." His "supernatural virtuosity and eloquence put the audience in hypnotic delight!" Such are the accolades this young guitar virtuoso from Poland is receiving from critics around the world. Lukasz has toured extensively around Europe and in Japan. He has appeared in music centers in Poland, Germany, France, Spain, England, Japan, Czech Republic, Belaruss, and Greece. He has participated in many music festivals in Poland in such cities as Gdansk, Poznan, Katowice, Wroclaw, Tychy and Warsaw to name only a few. He has been featured in festivals in Ansbach (Germany); Festival in Ferette (France); International Guitar Festival in Cordoba, the International Guitar Festival in Castro Urdiales, and the International Guitar Festival in Ingenio, Gran Canaria , (Spain); Eurowirral Guitar Festival (England); Minsk, Festival in Gomel (Belaruss); the International Guitar Festival in Volos (Greece); International Guitar Festival in Kutna Hora, Mikulov (Czech Republic) and in Tokyo, Niigata (Japan).

Katarzyna Bryla is a brilliant young violinist, born in 1982 in Poznan, Poland. After graduating with a bachelor and masters degrees from the Academy of Music in Poznan, where she studied under Professor Bartosz Bryla and Professor Jadwiga Kaliszewska, she entered the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, MD, on a full scholarship, where she now studies with Maestro Herbert Greenberg. (Ms. Bryla has participated in many master classes with such great artists as: M. Jaszwili, G. Zhyslin, P. Munteanu, L. Fleischer, W. Wilkomirska, K. Danczowska and many others.) Katarzyna Bryla has won an impressive number of national and international violin competitions. Among them 1st prizes in the National Children's Art Competition in Warsaw at the very young age of eight; National Violin Competition in Gdansk; National J. S. Bach competition in Zielona Gora where she was also awarded a special prize for the best performance of Bach; and the International Contemporary Music Competition in Warsaw. Other top prizes include National Violin Competition in Wroclaw; National Violin Competition in Olszlyn, National J. S. Bach Competition in Zielona Gora, International Krzysztof Penderecki Competition in Cracow; National Violin Competition in Elblag.
