KERRY POLITZER IS A JAZZ SINGER/SONGWRITER/PIANIST, who performs regularly in New York City has been described by Music.Download.com with "the only thing more outstanding than Kerry's smooth, sensitive piano style is her talent for composition." As a piano player, she has been a finalist in the American Pianist's Association Jazz Piano Competition, and is known for her exciting piano performances of Brazilian music, accompanying herself in Portuguese. As a composer, she has won awards in the International Songwriting Competition and the John Lennon Songwriting Competition. She has released 4 CDs with her "Labyrinth" Album winning as a finalist in the Best Jazz Album in the 2007 Independent Music Awards. She won 1st Prize in Jazz in the 2008 Ourstage Competition for her composition "Love is in the Atmosphere". In NYC she performs at the Blue Note, Birdland, the Kitano as well as other venues.

She will be appearing at An die Musik with a trio made up of her husband, George Colligan, Jazz pianist, trumpeter, drummer and composer, who has a very extensive piano career performing nationally and internationally with many well known jazz artists, including Cassandra Wilson, and his own trio. He has 20 CDS released under his name with his own compositions. George has been a popular performer at An die Musik for Jazz piano and will be performing on drums for this concert.

To round out the Trio will be bassist, composer recording artist and producer Paul Beaudry who has an extensive performance and recording career traveling with Clark Terry, Cecil Bridgewater, Roy Hargrove, Eddie Henderson, Allan Harris, as well as many others. He has won an award in the International Society of Bassists Jazz Competition. Paul has worked with Kerry and George and provides excellent rhythm and sensitivity to back up Kerry's piano pieces and Brazilian music.
