She talks about the history of the music & her experience with the music, connecting the audience to the music and making them feel a part of the performance. You will be entertained and entranced!

Jazz vocalist/flutist Rhonda Robinson began performing at an early age growing up in Indian Head, MD. She studied acting, voice, dance, and speech at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. After performing professionally in plays and musicals, she became interested in jazz after a workshop and private study with Grammy®-nominated jazz vocalist, Janet Lawson. The Rhonda Robinson Quartet has been performing across the Mid-Atlantic region for over 10 years at clubs, festivals, concert series, restaurants, schools and private events including opening for poet/activist Amiri Baraka and his Blue Ark Ensemble at Univ. of Baltimore, Langsdale Auditorium, the Federal Hill Jazz & Blues Festival, Columbia International Day Festival, The Johns Hopkins University, Lexington Market Concert Series, Tremont Hotel/Tug's Restaurant, Arch Social Club, Meli Bistro & Patisserie and many more.
