ABOUT THE ENSEMBLE:
The Third Millennium Ensemble (TME) offers cutting-edge performances of the chamber music of our time. Since its founding TME has performed at the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Flashpoint, Environmental Protection Agency, Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, Hillwood Museum, Ratner Museum, Strathmore Mansion, Smithsonian Museum of American Art and the Coolidge Auditorium of the Library of Congress.
An advocate for composers, the Third Millennium Ensemble is proud to sponsor a composer-in-residence beginning in the 2011-2012 season. TME has also established partnerships with the American Composers Forum and hosts an annual composition competition. The ensemble has held affiliations with the Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington, American Music Center and GLBT Arts Consortium.
